Recertification or CEUs

For recertification credits or continuing education credits for CNGA’s certification programs and GCC’s Professional Gardener Certification and Recertification program, all classes offered at ProGreen EXPO will be accepted.  For Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for the Landscape Industry Certified Technician or other PLANET certifications, please refer to http://www.landcarenetwork.org/cms/certification/recert/ceu.html.

Fee Structure:

$50 – Written tests only
$50 – Hands-on tests only
$85 – Combination of written and hands-on tests

If you are already Landscape Industry Certified, any session you take at ProGreen EXPO qualifies for Continuing Education Units (CEUs) toward maintaining an active status for your certification.  You must document each session you attend and retain these records to submit to PLANET when you recertify.  The CEU submission form is available on PLANET’s website.

ISA Arborist Certification Exam

ColoradoDepartment of Agriculture Continuing Education Credits for Commercial Pesticide Applicators

Class numbers 7, 10, 11, 14, 16, 17, 18, 19, 43, 44, 45, 46, 47, 76, and 84 qualify for CPA CEUs is offered at ProGreen.  Check the schedule for details.  CEU forms will be handed out at the classes and verifying signatures must be obtained at the end of each class.

ColoradoCertified Nursery Professionals Exam

Fee:  $75 – CNGA Member/$150 – GreenCO Member/$300 – Non-Member

Plant I.D. Lab

If you are studying Plant I.D. for any of the certification tests, this lab will help you prepare.  Feel free to stop in at any time to review and study.

Certified Greenhouse Grower Seminars & Exam

CNGA Members:

Manual: $30, Exam & Certification $120, Package deal: $110 (manual & exam/certification)

Non-Members:

Manual: $60, Exam& Certification $240, Package deal not offered.

The Certified Greenhouse Grower (CGG) training seminars and exam are offered at least once each year for those wanting to increase their knowledge of greenhouse growing.  Earning a certification designation illustrates a higher level of professionalism that benefits the individual and the company for whom they work.

Specific guidelines apply.  Please read carefully.

For those going for certification:

  • Pre-registration and payment with CNGA is required for this option.
  • To sit for the exam, attendance at all of the preparatory seminars is required.
  • This program is offered as a package and the registration fee covers the seminars, exam and upon passage a personalized certificate and name badge.

For those furthering their knowledge:

  • Attendance at the seminars for the sole purpose of furthering your education is provided at no additional charge above the ProGreen registration fee.
  • Individuals who may later wish to sit for the exam will be required to attend the seminars again.
  • Preferential seating for Certification students.
